Styrafoam Cup baby Bootie tutorial

Posted by Lena Nunn at 8:20 AM 7 comments
Someone was looking for my baby bootie tutorial today and couldnt find it so im posting it again !
Start with small size strafoam cup ( I believe they are 8 oz). Although bigger ones can be used.
Put snail adhesive on back of ribbon about one inch wide (dont worry it will come right off cup and is just for guildeline ) next draw line around cup right under ribbon. One piece of ribbon will restick to all your cups.

remove ribbon and cut on line all the way around

This is what you end up with

next cute two lines from top to about half inch above bottom rim . These lines should be about 1 1/2 inch apart.

Next punch two holes on either side of tongue. Make sure not to get to close to edges.

Thread ribon of choice through holes. Push back tongue and tie ribbon so sides of bootie come together.

Once bow is tied you can color bottom rim or "sole" of shoe if desired. I used bics marks alot.

Once your done you should have bootie looking like this

Fill with Candy and voila!
I hope this picture tutorial makes it easy for you to make these simple lil baby booties.

Dot to Dot and polka dots

Posted by Lena Nunn at 11:38 AM 0 comments
I love fresh stamps! I mean who doesn't love a new unused ready for anything you can imagine stamp? I got this darling stamp from Kraftin Kimmies stamps after I won a blog hop. I adore her!!! Her name is Agnes. I really love that she has a big booty and isn't a stick figure with no curves. Last night Jammie ( my bff) and I were having a stamp date over the phone ( she lives in Idaho and me in California so we text back and forth while we stamp) and I did the Kraftin Kimmie challenge of using Polka Dots. I know this card is kind of wild with all the different papers but I really wanted to make sure I got my dots on there. Ha ha. After I paper pieced her and finished the card and took pics my hubby asked me what she was making since it was white. Uh whipped cream. I wasn't going to color and take pics again. So shes making whipped cream ( work with me here people) . I still have about 20 new unopened stamps that need used so stand by for lots of new cards.

Anyone know of how to get fiberglass out of arms? Today Tony and I went out to clean our pond. We take our boat out and lean over the edges and pull up the weeds. Well when we were done I noticed my arms are all red and rashy. When I had my arms over the boat it was rubbing the fiberglass into my arms. Soo itchy!
Anyways you didnt come here to hear about my problems, you came here to see my card for the awesome FOSTV sketch challenge.  this sketch is ao fun and versatile, I love it! I had a stack of wild animal prints from a secret sister echange I did so I decided to use some of these with this card. Join us this week for a chance to win this  awesome set from Marks Finest Papers, a Heinrich CO. called "What  a Fox".

I love to organize !

Posted by Lena Nunn at 4:03 PM 1 comments
I don't know about you guys but I often get asked what my stamping desk looks like. This is it! Not all that special but it gets the job done. This desk was in the house when we moved in . As you can see it looks like it wasnt finished. There is missing drawers and no cabinet drawers. Oh well it works for me. I can put my paper racks in there and see what I got. You can also see the cabinet in the upper right corner which is where all my stamp sets go.
I love to organize so everything must have its spot! I just got some Thirty One bags from my cousin and they are awesome!! Im going to use them to organize even more. I figured they would be good for my stamps sets and paper scraps and whatever else I can cram in there. Here is an all in one tote I got from her. I have all my clear SU sets in there so I can tote them wherever I want to go! How awesome is that?? If you want to order some of these amazing bags you
can check them out here . She always has amazing deals going on!
