I love unicorns and this one is so cute I had to make a card with it. The unicorn is colored in with watercolored pencils and an aqua pen. Sparkle was added to the horn and mane and tail (hard to see in pic). The hearts on its body are from the sprinkles set.

I love this yellow!

As most of you know Tonys daughter has Celiacs which means she cant have any food with Gluten in it. I have found that there is not a lot of information on safe foods out there so I have joined this group (started by her mom) for recipes, safe list, and general support from others trying to find out more about this disease. You can join this group here: Blessed Creations

One idea for paper storage

Posted by Lena Nunn at 9:15 AM 2 comments

Ive had a few people ask me how I store all my paper for my cards and scrapbooking. This is my paper trays. I got a few of these snap together cubes (usually found at target or walmart) . Instead of making six cubes like in the directions I make One cube and use the extra parts for shelves which i attach using black zip ties. One set of these cubes makes two of these trays like shown. This picture was before I put all the paper back in but you get the idea. This is a really cheap way to store your paper.

Easy elegence with sponges

Posted by Lena Nunn at 3:54 AM 9 comments

I saw a card like this yesterday on SCS and I was so inspired I had to try one for myself. I also used all stampin' up! producsts (except silver studs) so I could do the 365 card blog challenge. I used the Baroque Motifs stamp set for the background triangles and stamped them in pacific point. I then used sponges to ink the triangles. The flower is from the Thoughts and prayers set and the friend is from the A little Somthing set ( you can earn this set by becoming a hostess!) Hope you like

I recently made some pillow boxes for a book to look jar. I cut these lil flowers using the Flower layers #3 and some white fleece. It gives them a really soft look. The paper is apricot appeal DP (which I LOVE).

Wallpaper Flowers

Posted by Lena Nunn at 8:57 AM 0 comments
My friend Gerry gave me some wallpaper books she thought I might be able to use so I used some sheets from that and my bella blossoms stamp set to make this card. The wallpaper is not very good for regular ink because its glossy and doesnt like to stick but the card still turned out decent. Hope you like Gerry.
