Product Focus: Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

Posted by Lena Nunn at 3:16 PM 0 comments

I just wanted to tell you ladies about the Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. I just got one and I don't know how I lived without it. Especially for those two step stamp sets ( like loads of love)! It is a tool that makes it so you can position your stamp in the right spot every time.

I Useed the SAMJ to stamp this card since the roses are three steps..

I just got this set in the mail yesterday so I had to do a card right away with it (because thats how I am) . I used a card by Jessica Rone as inspiration. She is amazing. This flower is super fun to paper piece as it has easy lines that are easy to cut around.

365 card blog challenge Day 9 - Just the Scraps

Posted by Lena Nunn at 8:40 AM 1 comments
This card is for the 365 card blog challenge day 9. Use just scraps . The base of this card was made from the green you see sticking out of my scrap bag. . The dark green behind the light green is a paint chip ( I pick them up whenever I can). The DP was just a lil scrap from a baby album I did that I didnt think looked very baby. Hope you like.

Yummy Tutorial

Posted by Lena Nunn at 9:10 AM 1 comments
Gather your items.
Things needed for this project are :
Paper Cutter
Decorative Paper
Glue (snail adhesive works best)
Ink Pad
Paper Crimper
Whisper white cardstock
Ribbon Of Choice
Embellishments Of choice
Yummy Stamp Set
(Spend $50.00 and get it for free)
and of course Kit Kats ( Or other candy bar)

First Lay your paper down with your candy in the middle. Make sure both sides can meet in the middle ( just like wrapping a Christmas Present).

Add Glue to sides (dont forget the inside) The picture above shows BEFORE I added the glue to the inside.

Once sides are glued line up one end in your crimper (right now I only have the small and the bigger one would have been so much easier)

Turn the handle until you reach the candy. Dont worry if your edges are long you can trim them later. Turn around and do other end.

Trim ends to whatever length you like. This is what it will look like.
Cut a length of ribbon that will fit around the belly of your candy and cluewhere ends meet . I like to meet them on the top side so your stamp will cover the seam.

It will now look like this.

Stamp your yummy stamp on the wisper white cardstock and cut around. Adhere to front.

add embellishments as you like. YOUR DONE!!! No you can make these for parties or friends or classroom events. Your only limited to your imagination.

which Cutter is Best?

Posted by Lena Nunn at 12:14 PM 0 comments

Today I was asked which paper cutter I recommend for scrapbooking and general paper crafting. This is it! I have tried many, MANY, paper cutters and have came to the conclusion you just can't beat this Fiskars one. It wipes clean, the blades last a really long time, it has a fold out arm for longer measures and best of all you can pack it anywhere for crops or anything. This is the specs..

■ Measures widths up to 15-1/2"
■ Unique design provides straight and precise cuts
■ Includes 2 blades
■ Swing-out arm for easy measuring
■ Aluminum surface on cutting platform marked for accurate measurement
■ Replacement cutting and scoring

You can order it from me here!
